Leading cryogenic valve manufacturer manual valve close-upMr. Vincent Grillo and Mr. Gregory Grillo, Co-Presidents of Cryofab Inc., a New Jersey-based manufacturer of cryogenic equipment, are pleased to announce the acquisition of Cryocomp Inc., California-based cryogenic valves suppliers, who also specialize in vacuum valve assemblies. The new company will retain the Cryocomp Inc. name as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Cryofab.

Cryofab, founded in 1971, is a global leader in design and supply of cryogenic dewars, storage vessels and transfer systems for the industrial gas, research, aerospace, medical, semiconductor, and pharmaceutical industries. In addition to being among the top cryogenic valves suppliers, Cryocomp adds expertise in cryogenic valves suppliers, vacuum valves, vacuum relief valves, pipe- and tube-sized bayonet assemblies, vapor vents and heaters, and helium control valves.

Cryofab, Inc. is a key vendor in the global cryogenic equipment marketplace. We manufacture and service cryogenic storage and accessories, offering custom as well as standard fabrications to customers world-wide. We offer a wide range of cryogenic containers: tanks, dewars, vessels, as well as hoses, and valves of all sizes allowing for the safe storage and transportation of all cryogenic gases. Our cryogenic dewars are capable of storing and transporting liquid helium, liquid argon, liquid oxygen, liquid nitrogen, liquid hydrogen, and liquid natural gas or LNG. Cryofab offers ASME, DOT, TPED, PED and ADR products. When asked what the motivation for the Cryocomp acquisition was, Greg Grillo stated “Cryofab has long desired to complement our extensive product line with offerings in the cryogenic bayonet and VJ valve areas. When the opportunity arose to achieve this goal through the acquisition of a respected and well established organization already entrenched in such a market it was difficult to resist.”
