Questions We Ask Before Creating Your Liquid Nitrogen Dewar

We always say that if you need it, we can make it. That’s absolutely true, but in order to create a custom liquid nitrogen dewar, or any other kind of container, we need as much information from you as possible. To prepare you for the types of questions you will get asked, we have put together this list for you.

Here are the common questions we will ask you when we receive a request to manufacture a CL/CLPB series dewar.

How is this container going to be used?

Portable dewars are intended for low pressure transport and storage of liquid nitrogen, oxygen or argon with conventional straight liquid dispensing.

What liquid gas service will this be used for?

CL/CLPB pressurized cryogenic tanks are designed to be used as a liquid nitrogen dewar, and also for transporting oxygen and argon.

What are the pressure requirements?

As mentioned above, portable dewars are intended for low pressure transport and storage. The CLPB series adds a self-pressurizing system for the ultimate in convenience and transfer efficiency, eliminating the need for external pressurization equipment.

Do you require gas service?

Or do you only require this dewar for liquid?

Is this incorporated into a product to be sold?

Or is it just for use in your laboratory?

Are any modifications preferred that would make this dewar fit your application better?

We realize that every company has different performance needs. With your help we’ll create a dewar that meets your very specific requirements.
